We are excitied to welcome the children into Year 4. All the children have started the year with a great attitute to learning and look very smart in their school uniforms.

Year 4 have enjoyed creating hats this week.
Year 4 are excited about their new phonics display this week.
Year 4 have had their first lesson of Commando Joe’s and enjoyed creating our school name from the equipment.
Year 4 have been recognising the British Isles and their capital cities during Geography.
Year 4 started their new Geography topic Catalonia and produced artwork based on the famous view of Park Guell.
Year 4 have enjoyed making Christmas cards and decorations this week. Everyone also had fun at our Christmas party.
This week, we had a volunteer from KPMG come into school and read ‘The 13-Storey Treehouse’ to us. Everyone enjoyed the story and produced their own treehouses.
Year 4 have started their new art topic _ ‘Autumn Art’ and have produced accurate drawings of Autumn leaves found in the playground.
Well done to Year 4 who were the runners up in this year’s ‘Enterprise Week’ competition,
For our ‘Enterprise Week’ Year 4 have made Halloween decorations.
Year 4 have been remembering their maths mindset statements during maths lessons.
Year 4 have started their history topic - Stone Age to Iron Age and have been researching Skara Brae.
Year 4 have been scooter training and learning all about road safety. Everyone really enjoyed themselves!
Year 4 have been busy working on their DT project to design their own mechanical poster to promote recycling.
