We read the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  We learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly.  We counted out the fruit for the caterpillar, we also cut out numbers 1-5 and ordered them onto a caterpillar.  We explored mixing colours in powder paints and then painted butterflies and caterpillars.  It was a lot of fun!
